World Golfers Invitational enters a new exiting era.
Invite your key customer, friend or spouse and represent your company and country. Challenge teams from more than 30 countries.
This year, we play under a new format, Scramble, Fourball, Greensome and Singels. This offers the two-person WGI team more fun, fair play and thrilling team play where every shot counts for your team and yourself. A real team work!
72 hole championship in four different disciplines. Players with handicap 0-36 are welcome.
Format & Rules: World Golfers Invitational 2008!
Day 1: Scramble The two-man team records one team result which also counts in the individual tournament.
Day 2: Fourball The two-man team records one team result as well as two individual results.
Day 3: Greensome The two-man team records one team result which also counts in the individual tournament.
Day 4: Singels The two-man team records two individual results which also count in the team competition.
WGI is played both individually and as a corporate two-person team competition, designed to give VIP's the opportunity to participate in a global championship and represent themselves, their company and their country, without having to qualify. There is going to be a Team Winner as well as an Individual Winner.
The Invitational offers not only a first-class golf tour experience, but also a platform for developing new friendships and business relations from around the world.

Handicap Flights and Teams
The tournament is played both as a two-person team event, as well as individually in 6 handicap flights in the Invitational (only 5 flights in the Championship.)
