Bunkershot from 2006 The Invitational is hosted simultaneously as the World Golfers Championship, WGC.

The Invitational offers not only a first-class golf tour experience, but also a platform for developing new friendships and business relations from around the world.

Played both individually and as a corporate two-person team competition, the Invitational was designed to give VIP's the opportunity to participate in a global championship and represent themselves, their company and their country, without first having to qualify.

Invite your key customer, friend or spouse and challenge other teams from all around the world! Individual without partners are also very welcome and will be paired with a “winning” partner.

The golf begins with two practice rounds followed by the 72-hole (four round) tournament, all during a 5-star week blended with banquets, entertainment and relaxation.

The official Visit Malaysia 2007 celebrates its 50 years of independence, which means there will be a lot of celebrations and more to enjoy during your stay. 2007 is the official Visit Malaysia Year.

Handicap Flights and Teams

The tournament is played both as a two-person team event, as well as individually in 6 handicap flights in the Invitational (only 5 flights in the Championship.)

0-5	6-10	11-15
16-20	21-25	26-30*
*Flight 26-30 only exists in the Invitational. Players with hcp 31 or more are welcome but enters tournament with hcp 30. Exact flights are: 0-5.4, 5.5-10.4, 10.5-11.4, etc.
