World Golfers Championship
Defend your nation against the World!
 WGC begins in the player’s own country as a National Championship divided into five handicap flights, each played separately.
Five winners, one from each flight, represents their nation as a team, as well as individually within their flight, in the world final.
If a winner can't participate, then the runner-up should take his/her place to ensure a complete national team! |

Tour Structure
Qualifiers varies between countries but the general WGC concept begins at club level and works it way up through regional finals to national finals.
Handicap Flights:
 All players enter the world final into the handicap flight according to the flight they qualified into, not necessarily the flight their new handicap would dictate.
Examples:
- Players entering the final with lower handicap than the flight will play on their handicap.
- Players entering with higher handicap than the flight will enter the final with the flight maximum handicap.
- Examples: Player in flight 6-10 enters final with hcp 4.
He plays flight 6-10 with hcp 4.
- Player
in flight 6-10 enters final with hcp 11.
He plays flight 6-10, but with hcp 10 (the flight maximum.)

The tournament is played both as a 5-person team event, as well as individually in 5 handicap flights (6 in the Invitational)
